School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships are more than just part-time jobs - they’re a great way to set students up for the career they want whilst they are completing their HSC. A School Based Apprenticeship or Traineeship combines paid work, training and school; and as well as an industry recognised national qualification they will gain credit towards the HSC. Some apprenticeships and traineeships can contribute towards their ATAR. A wonderful opportunity and option for the students of Yr 10, currently making decisions for their future studies.

Careers Term 2 has been very busy with students attending many activities including YES program at TAFE (Year 9); Taste of TAFE (Year 10); Futures R Us (Year 10); the Careers Expo at Leeton (Years 10 - 11); Experience Day at La Trobe University, Albury Wodonga Campus (Years 10 -12) and Explore Day at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga Campus (Years 10 - 12); University and the Defence Force visits to the College. Much information was obtained and skills learnt.
