Principal News

Lord, I thank You that You are the God of the impossible. You can do anything.
I want to trust in Your ability and not my own.
Teach me to see difficulties in my life from Your perspective.
Help me to focus on You and Your power. I want to be like Joshua and Caleb who believed in a good report and focused on You even in hard circumstances (Numbers 14:7-9).
Dear Parents, Students and Friends,
Students from Years 11 and 12 were joined by a large number of parents at our Semester One Awards Ceremony yesterday. It is always a pleasure and a privilege to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of students on the occasions and this time was no exception. The come forward with humility but also with joy in their eyes, knowing that they are living their lives to the full! Well done and well done to their families and our staff who are nurturing their talents in such a positive manner.
There are always new students receiving awards as well as those that have demonstrated their commitment to learning before and each one of them are truly living out important elements of the College Vision and Mission Statement. They are acting courageously…”Embracing Mary’s way of courageous acceptance” and giving attention to learning…”Igniting inquiring minds, collaborating, innovating, creating, fostering curiosity and extending learners through critical refection.”
Congratulations to Shanuille Parsa (Business Services) and Caitlin Chant (Animal Studies) for being selected as one of 4 finalists in the 2019 VET Training Awards for the Riverina Region in Wagga Wagga.
The College was recently informed that our Chaplain, Fr Christian is moving to St Patrick’s parish, Albury in late July, during the Term 2 holiday break. To enable the College to say “farewell and thanks”, we are holding an assembly this coming Wednesday, 26 June at 9am. Anyone within our community is invited to attend.
Please Note:
Term three commences for students on Tuesday 23 July. Staff will return on the 22nd July and will be working on our three year plan of embedding deeper learning of how practical evidence-driven analysis of our student data can inform and improve our teaching and hence improve student learning outcomes. This a Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga initiative and all schools are participating in some way within their local context.
Peace and Best Wishes
