There are many benefits of volunteering and / or obtaining part-time work while at school. The College offers many opportunities that encourage our students to volunteer both at school and in the wider community. Through our Year 10 Pathway Planning Program we are encouraging students to look at work experience opportunities. Work experience provides students with the valuable opportunity to develop employability skills and explore possible career paths.

Opportunities for work experience can be found through the following:

Nursing and midwifery (Get Real Experience and Try) GREaT
Telethon Kids Institute
The International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research - ICRAR

Some of our Year 10 students have already explored some of these opportunities and while others will obtain the experience through family and friends.
