The Year One students have been hard at work learning the skills of Japanese Manga Art.  The students needed to strive for accuracy and manage their impulsivity in order to develop this distinctive style. Well done to the Year One's.

Do you know the difference between Manga and Anime?

The Year Two students made name tags which are used to photograph all their art work throughout the year. We were reinforcing past knowledge of 'space' by placing some shapes in front and some behind by overlapping. We learnt a new skill of blending coloured pencils to create new colours. Clarity in our handwriting was important so that our name is easily read.
