From the Principal

Dear Parents/Guardians

The smiles and the joy on teachers, students and parents faces on Monday was a privilege  to witness as students returned to St Bede's for Term 4. Even though I strongly believe St Bede's  provided a wonderful remote learning program, children need to be at, and belong at, school. It provides them with a purpose and the  social interactions that children seek.

St Bede's is a wonderful school with a wonderful community and I thank everyone for their support  and commitment over challenging times.

We hope in time, when we are able to gather in larger numbers, we can celebrate  the success of our community to adapt  and stay positive and connected during what can only be described as unprecedented times.  Hopefully these times are now behind us.

Pick up and  drop off

Just a reminder that it is important that we don’t gather before or after school as per our COVID-safe plan.  Thank you for your patience ( especially with road works) and support with our drop off and pick up procedures. It is anticipated that they will be in place for the rest of this Term.

Prep 2021 Transition

The first Transition session  for Term 4 will be held online via Zoom next Wednesday 21st October commencing at 9:30am. A letter was sent to all families on Tuesday with the link.

We cant wait  to actually have them in attendance. If you know of any families that are still seeking a school for their children please let them know about St Bede's 

AFL Grand Final Public Holiday

A reminder that Friday 23rd October has been announced as a public holiday for the AFL Grand Final.

Footy Day

To celebrate this years  AFL Grand Final our students may wear their favourite football teams colours to school on Thursday 22nd October.  A special,  well done mention, to all those students intending to wear Carlton colours!!!!!!!

Technology

Just a reminder to any parents who may have borrowed a Chrome book with charger or Ipad during remote learning to please return by tomorrow. There are still some that have not been returned.
