Icy Pole Fridays

This Friday the students will once again be given the opportunity to purchase an icy pole at lunchtime for ONLY $1 – so please remind your children to pack their dollar coin for school this week. And a reminder that P&F members, along with parent volunteers are regularly required to assist in the organisation and distribution of icy poles to students. If you have some spare time on Fridays, we would really appreciate your help. You can add your name to the volunteer list by calling SANDRA on 0407 867 601, or alternatively, you can email her at sbarone69@hotmail.com 

Open Day

On Sunday 20th March from 10 am – 1 pm, St. Fidelis is hosting its open day. This day will give St. Fidelis' families and our extended community an opportunity to socialise and engage in the new learning spaces. 

There will also be baked products available for purchase from ‘The Village Bakery’ (thank you Damien & Anastasia Spyrou) and coffee available for purchase from ‘Food Family Passion’ (thank you Joe and Angela Rocillo). Included will also be a FREE sausage sizzle! 

***URGENT – our lovely parishioners are kindly volunteering their time from 11 – 1 pm to assist with the cooking and service of sausages. However, we need YOUR HELP for set-up and service prior to 11 am. Hot Cross Bun Drive 

Who doesn’t love a mouth-watering, warm and flavoursome BAKER’S DELIGHT hot cross bun? Well thanks to Elena & Dave Fairbanks from Baker’s Delight, the P&F will be running our annual hot cross bun drive. There will be an amazing selection of buns to choose from, including traditional, choc-chip and fruitless. Flyers containing information on how to order, bun flavours and prices have been distributed. The cost per pack is $8 (6 pack) and for every pack sold, St. Fidelis will receive $2!

Easter Raffle

Every year the P&F has the pleasure of organising the St. Fidelis Easter Raffle. It is such a joy to see the ecstatic faces of the ‘winning’ children who collect their easter hampers! Raffle tickets will be distributed this coming week and cost $1 per ticket. As usual, you can sell as little or as many tickets as you like. There are also spare raffle booklets available at the front office if you need more!

Please name and number each raffle ticket, then return to school before 9 am, Friday 1st April – GOOD LUCK!

We are also asking all families to kindly DONATE one Easter item to be used in the raffle hampers. Non-perishable items would be appreciated. Some ideas may include Easter themed activity kits, stationery, mugs, candles, pyjamas, books, wine, etc… But of course, any donation would be accepted with pleasure. Donation tubs will be in each of the children’s classrooms, so please have your child take their donations into class with them to pass on to their teacher. We thank you in advance for your support of this fundraiser.

Lunch Order Day

Thank you to Dave & Elena Fairbank from Baker’s Delight Coburg for supplying us with the pizza and buns for Lunch Order Day. The food was well received by students, with happy faces all around. Thank you to the parents who supported our first lunch order day by purchasing a canteen order AND thank you to Rose and her team for organising this day. We look forward to more lunch order days in the coming terms.
