NAPLAN ONLINE PRACTICE TEST 2022
Year 3 and 5 at St Nicholas School will partake in the NAPLAN Online Practice Test on Thursday 24th March 2022. The students will answer sample questions covering Reading, Language Conventions and Mathematics. This is a practice test to ensure that the online platform and requirements are ready for the actual tests on the 10 - 20th May. It also allows students a chance to practise the format of the online test. The test is not marked and no feedback is given to students or teachers about their results.
All students will require their own set of headphones or earbuds to access questions being read to them in the Mathematics and Language Conventions components of the test.
More information about NAPLAN will be published in the newsletter early in Term 2. The following link provides parent information

MANNERS MATTER AT ST NICHOLAS SCHOOL
Manners matter - not just some of the time, but ALL the time. This year we are taking time to remind students about what good manners looks like and sounds like. The past few weeks we have been focusing on the students making eye contact and using a person's name when speaking to someone. We have been encouraging them to stop, look at the person speaking and use the person's name to ensure they are using their best manners.
