MALPA

Malpa is back!!!

Very happy to be in the class with our Bubup Doctors once again.

This term we have covered our hygiene topic and discussed the importance of keeping clean to keep all germs away especially during this pandemic. We made our own hand sanitisers to take home.

We have also covered the topic Leadership. With us just celebrating International Womens Day we chose to talk about the women leaders in our life. This could be Mums, Aunts, Sisters or Teachers.  We made canvases about our leader and some of their qualities. Our Bubup Doctors helped put together some qualities that our women leaders have.

Dadirri with Aunty Lee

This week we welcome back Aunty Lee and Bailey who begun our year of learning through Wayapa and Dadirri for our Steiner classes. Students in 4/5S drew images as they participated in a deep listening experience with Aunty Lee.

Thank you to our parent who donated a very generous amount of books for our Library.  All of the books will begin our collection dedicated to Aboriginal stories, knowledge and written by First Nations authors.

We are working to ensure our library collection represents our creative and diverse community.
