Certificate III in Pork & Agriculture Students

All Certificate III Agriculture and Pork students have been given their plans which outline the units they will be studying, what they must complete within the unit and due dates. All parents of these students have been emailed a copy,  to ensure they understand the work students are getting and for what reason. All students in this group have been working hard this term to start their qualifications and we wish them all the best in the training to achieve the required skills and knowledge to be deemed competent.

Missed VET Theory Classes

If students have missed VET Theory Classes for any reason, have lost a Skills Journal or require the practical paperwork for the Units of Competency, you all have access to it on connect under "Year 12 Farm" or "Year 11 Farm" Class. Please come and see Mrs Corsini if you have any issues or questions on how to access Connect or have questions on how to achieve your Certificate II & III qualifications down on farm.  We will also have a Farm staff member on Tuesday night prep throughout this term if anyone needs more assistance in completing Farm paperwork.

Get to know the Farm Staff

General Technical Officer- Jemma Read

I started on the College farm at the end of 2020 and have immensely enjoyed my time here so far. I enjoy working in many different areas on the farm, particularly with livestock, but also discussing the bigger issues within agriculture, such as sustainability. I'm particularly impressed by the enthusiasm our students have for agriculture, the ideas they have and their willingness to participate in problem solving and decision making.

After finishing my bachelor's degree in Ag Science last year I've been chomping at the bit to explore topics more thoroughly within this industry and am planning on commencing my Masters in Genetics and Breeding mid 2022. I'm looking forward to passing on this knowledge to students, present and future.

Uniform/COVID Rules

All students have really improved on the uniform standards down on farm, but we must stress the importance of wearing masks in vehicles.  Below is what is in each vehicle to remind staff and students the COVID requirements. These new rules are in place to keep you safe and so we can continue to complete our practical components on Farm here at the College.
