A message from Largs North Kindergarten

Early Childhood Worker, Chery Unglaube is retiring at the end of this year, and whilst we are very sad that she is leaving us, she is very excited about the next chapter in her life, and we are excited for her too.

Cheryl has given to our profession tirelessly and selflessly for over 20 years in 3 sites - including Largs North Kindergarten for the last 15 years. We would dearly like to honour her in an appropriate manner when she leaves us.

We are putting together a book of memories with contributions from families and colleagues. As she has taught the children of many families in the community at Largs Bay Primary School, we wanted to offer you the opportunity to submit a written comment for the book.

They need to be in by the end of Term 3, and no contribution is too small.

If you happen to see Cheryl out and about in the community, please do not mention the book, or that you know she is retiring (unless you currently have a child at the kindergarten) as we would like the gift to be a surprise.

Auskick

I hope you are well and have been enjoying the 2017 Auskick season.

During the October School Holidays SANFL will be running the Next Step Program this time bigger and better with the program here at Adelaide Oval and Alberton.

Participants this year will not only receive their own personalized guernsey but also a footy, boot bag, drink bottle and pair of footy socks combined with a SANFL Maccas League Grand Final Family Pass and the opportunity to play on Adelaide Oval the 2017 Next Step Program is one not to be missed.

If you register before the 28th August you will be in the running to be one of the 22 lucky participants to present the medals to the winning players on SANFL Maccas Grand Final Day.
