Middle School News
End of Term 3!
What an amazing term we have had in Middle School. In Maths, we have learnt so much about Division, Time, Graphs and Data as well as Patterns and Algebra. In Reading, we have focused on Inferring and Synthesising while in Writing, we have learnt all about Narratives and Poetry. In Geography we studied Sustainability and the Environment while in History, we learnt all about the First Fleet. Congratulations all Middle students on a fantastic term of learning.
Footy Day!
To celebrate the last day of term, students came to school in their footy gear and had a fantastic day celebrating all the different teams we support in our school. The hotdogs for lunch were pretty yummy too!! Check out Middle B in their footy colours...
Community Visits
As term three ends, so do our Community Visits. We have had a great time building relationships with the residents at Walmsley Village, as well as the kinder kids at Palm Grove Kindergarten, Hansen Park Kindergarten and Ladybug Kindergarten. The walks and fresh air on the way definitely did us good as well! We will miss all of our new friends and hope to see them again some time in the future.

Term 4
Teachers are already excited about what we are doing in term 4! In Reading, we will be improving our Analysing and Critiquing skills while in Writing, we will be looking at Investigation Research and Persuasive writing. In Maths we will be learning about Fractions and Decimals, Money and Financial Mathematics, and Units of Measurement. We have a fantastic Health unit to complete as well as an interesting Civics and Citizenship unit and we are also bringing back our much loved Genius Hour!! We will also be continuing our Girls and Boys clubs, as well as our PBS lessons and grade four students will start their buddy training! Lots of exciting things are happening in term 4!!
