Whole School Info (1 of 1)

Website Videos

You may have noticed the BHCS snapshot videos on our website. These will be updated regularly, featuring many of the exciting and every day things happening in our busy school.  We hope you enjoy watching them!

Camp Australia

Please see attached for the latest newsletter update from Camp Australia. Looks like the kids have been having fun!

We would like to remind families that Before and After School Care are both available for BHCS families through Camp Australia. For more information, please see the attached document.

Dogs at School

Families with dogs are reminded to always have their dogs on a leash and to never leave dogs tied up and unattended while on school grounds. Should you have walked your children to school with a dog, we also ask that you be mindful of the component of students at the school who are fearful of dogs. Where reasonably possible, please leave plenty of clearance around you for other people to pass by.

Prep in 2017

If you have a child who is expected to start Prep in 2017 and have not yet put in an application, please contact Jodie Davis

(Registrar) as soon as possible. Interviews for Prep places next year, will take place later this term, parents will be advised of interview dates closer to the time.

Government Money Available for Healthcare Card/Pension Holders

If you hold a current Health Care or Pension Card (valid on or before 27th January, 2016), or are a Foster Parent, you may be eligible for a Government payment under the new Camps, Sports & Excursions Fund.

Payments are $125 per primary student and $225 per secondary student.

For more information, please see the CSEF website. Please download the Application Form attached or collect one from Reception. Term 1 applications are due NO LATER than 29th February, 2016.

It is extremely important to the School that all families who hold a Health Care/Pension Card take the time to apply for this funding. Not only will you receive a payment that will be credited to your fee account, the School’s ongoing Government Funding is based on the number of applications received. This can make a big difference in the programs and facilities that the School can provide for your children.
