Welcome to the start of another exciting year in Debating Circles at St Bede’s College. It has been a busy time of late with the running of junior school speak-offs to finalise our squad for the fast approaching D.A.V. competition.  The boys who will represent St Bede’s College  in the 2015 Debating Association Victoria competition are:

The Captain of the 2015 squad is Kent Bennett from Year 12.

Congratulations to all squad members and good luck for your debates ahead. Special welcome to our new faces in the squad from the junior school: Flynn Morley, Jeremy Mann, Xavier Muncey, Jack Pooley, William Devlin, Jacob Barry, Aaron Arthur, Dillon Bullman, Luke Howard, Kieran Pereira and Ronan Beaucasin, also to Malcolm Liddell from  Year 9, Nathan Saldana from year 11 and Conor Johnson from Year 12. St. Bede’s will again be competing in the Bayside Region of D.A.V. running at Brighton Grammar on the following dates:

25th March, 29th April, 20th May, 17th June and 29th July 2015. Finals dates and venues to be announced following the finish of the regular season. All parents and friends are most welcome to attend debate nights and encourage the St.Bede’s College debaters in their efforts.
