Next term, the Canteen will be changing over to the Spring/Summer Menu. You will find an updated copy attached.
Captains' Photos
If your child is a School or House Captain, they would have had a 'Captains' Photo' taken. These are now available for purchase directly from Arthur Reed. Photos are 20cm x 25cm and are $10 each.
To order photos, head to www.arthurreedphotos.com.au/OnlineTeams, select our School and then you can select the photo you would like to purchase.
If you would like to look at a photo before purchasing, these can be viewed at Reception.
Careers News
Please find attached the latest copy of the Careers News. This is a great resource for our Senior Students.
Headlice
The School would like to make families aware that there have been reported cases of headlice in Junior and Middle School. We strongly encourage all families to use the upcoming School holidays to treat your children. If this problem persists, a Council Nurse will be organised early next term.
Operation Christmas Child
A reminder to all families that the Samaritan's purse boxes will need to be finalised by Friday, October 23.
A small item from each child in the class for a girl or a boy, or a small gold coin donation should be enough to fill up a box for a child in need.
Items to include:-
- Something for school eg. exercise books, grey lead pencils, erasers, sharpeners, pencil cases
- Something to wear eg. T-shirts, thongs or slippers (as many don’t have shoes)
- Something to wash with eg. toothbrush, hairbrush, face washer, soap, hair ties (no toothpaste please)
- Something to play with eg. outside toys such as balls, toy cars, skipping ropes, marbles, small plastic animals
- Something special eg. $2 recorder, harmonica, torch, sunglasses, stickers
- Something to love eg. teddy bears, dolls, soft hand puppets, any small soft toy
Things not to include:-
- Anything liquid eg deodorant or soap
- Items related to war eg. toy guns, camouflage material, no skulls or crossbones
- Gambling items eg. no playing cards, dominoes
