From the Principal Team

Principal Report

Welcome back to school after the term break. We hope all students have enjoyed some relaxation time and are refreshed and energised for the learning programs in term 4.

Leadership Assembly

A whole school assembly was held today to hear our prospective school leaders for 2020 speak to the students and staff about why they would be the best candidate to represent Greater Shepparton College (interim name). School captain nominees each gave short speeches to the assembly.

The quality of all candidates was extremely high and all nominees should be very proud of their efforts. Student leaders will be selected from all of the existing schools to represent their peers. We will be excited to announce our leaders in our next newsletter. Congratulations and good luck to all who applied.

Year 12 Farewell and Exams

The Year 12 farewell assembly will be held on Wednesday 23rd October in our school hall. This marks the final ‘official’ day of school for Year 12 students. Some VCE students have commenced exams, with performance and language exams starting from Monday 7th October. Written exams will begin on Wednesday 30th October and conclude on Wednesday 20th November 2019.

Shepparton High School’s final Year 12 Valedictory Dinner will be held at The Sherbourne Terrace Hotel on Thursday 21st November. This is the final event for Year 12 students and allows parents, staff and students to reflect on the journey they have been through together for the last six or more years.

Congratulations to all Year 12 students and we wish you all the best for your exams and future endeavours.
