YEAR 12 WORK EXPERIENCE

Term 3

During this term students have either chosen another employer or decided to remain at the current business.  We gave the students some questions to answer on why they chose the area to do the work experience and what they think.

1. What are your main tasks?Servicing and performing repairs on trucks and trailers. Servicing generators, helping with fabrications.
2. What hours do you work? 8.00 to 4.00pm.
3. How many people do you work with?  10.
4. What is the best part of the work that you are doing?Learning about trucks and implementing my knowledge while working on the trucks myself.
5. Do you think that being at the Ag College has helped with the work that you are doing?  Yes I do.
6. Why (what skills that you have learned have helped you – welding, auto, farm etc)? All trade skills learnt from being in metals and auto.
