Year 12 Students and Parents/Guardians

Year 12’s will be receiving separate communication in the coming days in relation to some key dates, information and processes to be aware of and follow as they near the end of their time at the College.

Year 12 End of Education Program

The time for Year 12 students is quickly drawing to a close. All students need to keep focussed, maintain standards and expectations to ensure that they leave the College having made the most of the opportunities provided to them.

Year 12 Surveys

As the Year 12 students prepare to leave they will be required to complete several exit surveys for the Department of Education and the College providing feedback about their experiences.  What the College is doing well and areas that could be improved or changed into the future to further enhance the program and experiences for current and prospective students. These surveys will be administered to have the least impact as possible on the student’s program.

Mobile Phones

This is a timely reminder to parents and all students about the College’s Policy in relation to mobile phones. Students phones are to be ‘off and away’ during the school day. The school day is defined from 8.00am to 4.00pm. The use of mobile phones during the school day is not permitted unless directed by a staff member as part of the educational program.

There have been instances where students have taken photos and then posted to social media platforms during the day. This is in breach of the College and the Department of Education Policy and the consequences as per the College’s Policy have been imposed.

Students need to be constantly aware of their ‘Digital Footprint’ and the consequences of this in the present and the future. Parents are reminded not to contact their child during the school day on their mobile phone as this is often the cause for students having their phones confiscated. If parents are wishing to contact their child during the day for matters of an urgent nature, please contact the College Administration Office and we can assist.
