Music Matters

We recently entered our Concert and Jazz Bands into the online Sydney Eisteddfod. I am pleased to announce that in the Premium Jazz Band category we gained a highly commended. We also gained a highly commended in the Novice Concert Band section. Well done to these ensembles and to their directors Geoff Power and Laura Power.

I continue to hear good reports regarding lessons and ensembles online activity. As a suggestion those boys who play an instrument should seek time away from their screens by doing some practice. This would give some respite from screens and increase their skills. Just a reminder that students are required to keep their cameras on during rehearsals.

Lookout in the coming weeks for an online presentation of Splinters, Splashes, Stage and Sounds. This will be the only opportunity to see the great work from our Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Design & Technology students.
