Concert
Dancing our Feet off!
On the 13th and 14th June, Good Shepherd Parish School held an exciting event for all students: a junior and senior concert! From the very beginning of Term Two, the students have been working hard to learn their unique dances! The students have learnt a lot along the way, and knocked everyone's socks off on stage at Crossway Baptist Church. We hope all the Good Shepherd students had a wonderful experience and a fantastic time- everybody's parents must be very proud. Thanks to our teachers for helping us learn the dances and songs, especially Miss W and Mrs De Wilde. Happy dancing!!

What an amazing success the Good Shepherd concert was. It is hard to believe that we were able to put together a most memorable event in only 7 weeks.
The two concerts were so successful and showcased the talents of our students and teachers.
The hard work, dedication and commitment shown by the students was a credit to them all. There were nerves backstage, but also feelings of great excitement and a sense of achievement. Some comments made during the concerts were -
- “I want to be an actress when I grow up”
- “That was so much fun!”
- “ I wish we could do that again!”
- "That was the best experience ever!!!"
- " I thought I was going to faint before, but now I feel so happy."
There were moments that bought tears to our eyes and moments of pure delight and pride.
The sheer joy on the children’s faces was priceless. The immense feeling of delight on the teachers' faces reflected how pleased they were with their classes.
A very big thank you to our parents for the continued support you have shown during the concert and our classroom teachers and support staff who worked so hard in preparing our students. A very big thank you to Shannen Wick and Karen De Wilde for their choreography, planning and constant support to teachers and students.
