Sausage Sizzle

On Tuesday 13th June, the Parents and Friends hosted a sausage sizzle to fundraise for new school equipment. This year, there were copious amounts of sausages (obviously), cookies and juice. The variety was mind blowing! Overall, it was a very fun event for the students and teachers. On behalf of all the students of Good Shepherd, we are so grateful for all the parents who volunteered on the day.

The much anticipated sausage sizzle was a red hot event!! The children thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to feast on sausages, cookies and juice boxes. A nice break from the standard lunchbox items and a nice break for parents from the routine of making daily lunches.
A very big heartfelt thank you to our Parents and Friends' Committee and all volunteers who supported this event. There were those who sourced the items, others who cooked and also those who served the food.
It is opportunities like this that children treasure - the excitement on their faces was evident as they lined up to collect their orders, skipped back to their classrooms and chatted away whilst enjoying the company of classmates.
