Year 11 Formal

Year 11 students will have the opportunity to attend the St John's Regional College Year 11 Formal this year. The event will occur on Friday 4  August 2023 from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. The Year 11 Formal will be held at Beletti Restaurant Café Bar at 159/161 Lonsdale St, Dandenong. Students are asked to arrive on time and be picked up on time, because the venue is booked for this limited time only.

Please be mindful of Friday afternoon traffic, allowing sufficient time for a timely arrival.

Only current St John’s Regional College Year 11 students may attend the event. No external partners are permitted. All food, drink and music is included in the ticket price of $85. A two-course meal will be served, including a non-alcoholic beverage package. There will be an opportunity to take photos together on the evening using the College's equipment. Other photos on personal devices can also be taken.

A DJ will provide the music for the event.

Tickets can be purchased via

TryBooking https://www.trybooking.com/CIDGM  and must be purchased by Friday 23 June. No additional tickets will be sold after this date. You must also include any dietary requirements.

Year 12 Graduation

To celebrate the completion of secondary education, St John’s Regional College organises a Year 12 Graduation Mass and Dinner Dance for the graduating students and parents of the Class of 2023.

The Year 12 Graduation Mass, followed by dinner, will be held on 24 November 2023 at St Patrick’s Cathedral from 6:00pm until 7:00pm and the MCG Olympic Room from 7.30pm until 11:30pm.

For the Graduation Mass, celebrated at St Patrick’s Cathedral, graduates are asked to arrive by 5:00pm to enable time for a group photo to be taken. Please be mindful of Friday afternoon traffic, allowing sufficient time for an early arrival, especially if coming in on the Monash Freeway (M1). Many families in the past have, unfortunately, missed some of the formal proceedings.

Families will need to organise parking as there is no parking available at the MCG. There are public parking facilities nearby at Federation Square (corner of Flinders and Swanston Sts), the City Square (202-208 Flinders Lane) and MOPT (Entrance D off Olympic Boulevard - Meter (Jolimont Tce, Claredon St).

A two course menu will be served at the MCG, including a non-alcoholic beverage package. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased at the bar.

Parents of graduating students can purchase as many tickets as needed, at the cost of $125 per ticket. This must include tickets for the graduating student and for the parents or guardians of the student, and any other person over the age of fourteen. Please note that a parent or guardian must accompany the graduating student, regardless of whether the student is 18 or not.

Tickets can be purchased via TryBooking.     The TryBooking link is https://www.trybooking.com/CICOC

Tickets must be purchased and paid for in full by 15 September (the end of Term 3).     No additional tickets will be sold after this date.

You must also include dietary requirements at the time of booking using the link. Please make sure you include any requirements you have, so that the venue can accommodate for you.
