Year 4 STEM
This term our year 4 class has the oportunity to attend STEM classes with Nicole. On Wednesday they learnt what elements they needed to make a hot chocolate and how those elements react with each other. This was certainly a popular experiment.

Buddie Program
Today our Preps and grade 6's got together in teams to play Yahtzee to really get those mathematic minds going. Our Grade 6 students stepped up to really help our younger students to complete a more complicated task.
Come And Visit with Ellen
Over 2 sessions, Ellen hosted our 'Come and Visit' program for 4 year old kinder students, looking to enrol in Prep in 2024. On our second session, we invited a couple of our year 5 students to join them as next year these students will become Grade 6 buddies for our new Preps. Ellen read one of her absolute favourite books Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See. Together in groups, after a bit of dress up fun, the children then created their own Brown Bear to take home.

We have received some new books in the last couple of weeks thanks to points raised through your Scholastic Book Club purchases. Thank you! We also have received our Mentor Texts Books with funds raised through our classroom Easter raffle. These are much needed resources for teachers to utilise in their classroom curriculum planning.
