2020 Swimming Carnival
As you are aware, tighter regulations were introduced by the NSW State Government in an attempt to improve safety at school swimming carnivals and school based swimming lessons. Therefore, it is now a requirement that parents assess their child’s swimming ability at the start of any water based program.
With our Term 1 Swimming Carnival on Thursday 6th February 2020, we need this google form filled out to the best of your ability by FRIDAY 6th DECEMBER 2019. No St Edward’s child will be allowed access to a public swimming pool for a school based event before this form has been completed.
If you have more than one child enrolled at St Edward's, please complete a separate form for each child.
If your child is in Year 2 in 2020 and can competently swim 50m he/she is able to participate in the Swimming Carnival, so we encourage you to complete the google form below. If Year 2 students in 2020 cannot swim 50m they are not required to attend the carnival therefore you DO NOT need to complete the google form.
The google form will also be posted to Seesaw for all parents to access. Your prompt response to this would be appreciated. Click here for the 2020 Student's Swimming Ability google form
Thanks, Heidi Hardaker
