Congratulations!

What legends!

Project Manager Rob Kitchingman and former HT Parent, Ross Tebbutt, competed in the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) Granfondo World Series Qualifying Race held last weekend in Lorne.  The UCI Granfondo World Series is a series of UCI-sanctioned races held all over the world. Some 21 events will qualify the top 20% in each age group to compete in the UCI Granfondo World Championships to be held in Whistler, Canada in 2020, where the champions are awarded with the coveted rainbow jersey.  Rob and Ross competed in the 60 – 64 age group, where nearly 200 competitors from Japan, New Zealand and Australia  raced a 130 km route through the Otway Ranges and along Great Ocean Road. Both Rob and Ross finished in the top 35 who made the World Series qualifying time.  All that bike riding on the commute to school is paying off!
