SATURDAY 21st MARCH

SCHOOL FETE

Hi everyone,

We just thought we would drop a note in the newsletter about the fete and what’s happening. You should have by now received a note home with details on how you can pre-order Showbags and Wristbands.

Please note:

the last date you can pre-order showbags is Wednesday 4th March 2020

the last date you can pre-order wristbands for the amusements is Wednesday 18th March 2020.

Any orders received after 9am on either of these days cannot be accepted and you will have to pay on the day of the fete for these.

If you haven’t received a letter as of yet, please call past the office and collect one.

Grade stalls

Thank you to all the staff who have taken the time to assign their grade to a stall at the fete. Below are the grade stalls confirmed for the fete -  there are a wide selection of stalls and this is only some of what is happening on the day of the fete!-

To help these grade stalls, your child’s class will have a sign up sheet on their door or near their classroom in the coming weeks. If your child or yourself can participate in helping their grade stall, you can add your name or speak to your child’s teacher. If required, further information will be sent out via specific grades on support they need.

Volunteering

Thank you to everyone who has already volunteered in some capacity on the day of the fete. In order for the fete to work and for us to be able to do all that we want to do on the day, we’re still in need of volunteers. There are lots of stalls this year and lots of opportunities still for doing a one and a half hour slot.

We can’t stress enough that without volunteers, we can’t run the fete as we hope, meaning we will have to have less attractions, resulting in less visitors and less money raised. Remember all funds raised is going towards the children benefiting from the funds.

We know that life is busy, but please if you can, sign up today using this link:

https://signup.com/go/GLBOqRH

There will be reminders sent once you have signed up. You never know, you might even have fun!

We’re aware that we’re asking a lot of families around this time and the fete, but it really can’t happen without parent support. In light of this, Parents & Friends will not be organising a special lunch this term and there will be no Hot Cross bun drive and Easter raffle. All efforts are supporting the fete.

Your support is very much appreciated.

Many thanks,
