Small Pleasures Fund

The Small Pleasures Fund was created by a group of former students of Sacré Cœur in honour of alumna Rebecca Dollman (class of 1991), who passed away in 2013 following a 10- year battle with breast cancer, aged 39.  She left behind twin boys aged 2.

 

Our annual lunch is Rebecca’s legacy and the means by which we raise funds to benefit members of our alumnae community who may be experiencing a life threatening or debilitating illness or injury. Our aim is to provide a ‘small pleasure’ to make someone’s day a little brighter. Over the last 7 years we have assisted many individuals and families within our community facing some very difficult times.  We always receive feedback from these recipients that it is so wonderful to be part of a loving and kind-hearted community.

Raffle Donations

Each year we are approached by people wishing to assist the Fund in some way. A great way to help is via our Event Raffle, which is our key source of fundraising.The Small Pleasures Committee is currently sourcing raffle prizes for the day so if you are able to offer a prize or a cash donation that we can put towards some fantastic raffle items we’d be very grateful. Save the Date

This year our annual lunch will be held on Saturday 23 November, 2019 from 12pm at Leonda By the Yarra.  It promises to be a wonderful day with special guests and is an opportunity to enjoy a ladies day with our very special community, both alumnae and friends of Small Pleasures Fund.  Tickets will go on sale mid-October.  lease keep an eye on our Facebook page and in the alumnae newsletter for booking details; invitations will also be sent to previous guests who have supplied their email address.
