Alumnae News

Darcy Fahey (Class of 2015)

Since graduating from Sacré Cœur in 2015, I've been heavily involved in Melbourne’s theatre scene. I've been fortunate enough to have been a part of some spectacular amateur musical theatre shows, highlights including Dusty: The Original Pop Diva with ‘Babirra Music Theatre’ and Beauty and The Beast with ‘Windmill Theatre Company.’ I'm currently rehearsing for another show, The Producers with ‘Babirra Music Theatre,’ set to open 11 October 2019 at The Whitehorse Centre.

I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Nursing at Deakin University and thoroughly enjoying being on the Deakin Nursing & Midwifery Society Committee as the ‘Publications Executive.’

In between a busy rehearsal and university timetable, I love to bring new and old friends to my favourite casual dance classes at The Space and Elevator Studios.

I would like to thank Sacré Cœur for fostering my love of the arts. Arts festival, music concerts, music camp, choir rehearsals, carols were my most treasured moments at school and without them, I would not be the performer or person I am today.

I would like to extend an invitation to staff, students and friends of Sacré Cœur to come and see The Producers.

Based on the 1968 film, Mel Brooks’ musical, The Producers is a laugh-out-loud, outrageous, crowd-pleasing farce that has been a smash hit since its 2001 debut.
