Reunions
1979, 2009 and 2018
The Class of 1979 enjoyed a catch up at the school before moving onto dinner at Kooyong Tennis Club. It was wonderful to have teachers Virginia Kennedy and Mary Bailey in attendance and included a sing along!
The noise from the Parlour on a Friday evening in late August indicated that the Class of 2009 had a lot of catching up to do! Over forty girls were in attendance and it was wonderful to have them back at the school.
The Class of 2018 came together for a reunion marking one year since we wore our white socks knee high and tied ribbons through our hair. There wasn’t a pause in conversation as we gathered in the Kirby Centre and sipped our glass of bubbly in true Sacré Cœur alumnae fashion. For all of us, 2019 has been a year of great change and we should all be immensely proud of how we have embraced such change; whether we filled our days with travel, work, study, passion projects or other. The reunion was a reminder that no matter where we are in life and no matter how much time passes us by, we will always have a community that supports and welcomes us. We will always be women of the Sacred Heart.
