BOOK REQUISITES VIA OFFICEMAX/WINC

All students should now have all their required requisites at school for the year ahead.

If parents still need to purchase items, please note that the school’s supplier of bookpacks,

Officemax/WINC has closed their online order portal due to stock availability issues.

We suggest you source your items from other stationery suppliers or let your child’s teacher know and the school may be able to assist in certain instances.

CAMPS SPORTS & EXCURSIONS FUND - CSEF

The CSEF is an annual payment to the school to be used towards camps, sports and/or excursion expenses for the benefit of the eligible student.

If you have an eligible Centrelink Health Care Card (HCC) or Pensioner Concession Card (PCC) or Veterans Affairs Gold Card you may be eligible.

  • Queries & application forms re CSEF eligibility and payments should be directed to the school.

CONVEYANCE ALLOWANCE

Some students attending this school will be eligible for a Conveyance Allowance in 2020.

To be eligible a student must

  • live more than 4.8 km by the shortest practicable route from the NEAREST school attended AND live more than 4.8 km from the nearest DEECD funded bus service stop;
  • Be enrolled at the nearest or next nearest government school.

Please direct any enquiries re either of these allowances to Sue Turner at the school office.

SCHOOL ACCOUNTS

Many families have already paid for their child’s books and/or charges via Officemax/WINC or QKR.

Once all these payments have been processed, accounts will be issued to families, probably in the next few weeks. Please note the following:

  • All families will be issued with an account (even those with a NIL balance) which will show all charges, payments received and if applicable, amounts still owing. Please ring us if you don’t agree with what is listed.
  • If you would like to make payment on your account prior to the issue of all accounts, please download and use the QKR app
  • If you are experiencing financial difficulties, we encourage you to speak with Diana Ellis or Sue Turner to discuss alternative arrangements;
  • If you are part of a ‘separated family’ and share the responsibility for your child’s school expenses, please call Sue Turner so this can be correctly set up on our database.
  • Please read the School Council article regarding the newly established School Improvement Funds. A flyer with more information will be issued with accounts.

STUDENT PERSONAL DETAILS

By now, all students should have received a green coloured document, which lists the current personal details held by the school for that child.

THIS FORM MUST COME BACK TO SCHOOL, EVEN IF THERE AREN’T ANY CHANGES. YOUR ASSISTANCE IS REQUESTED TO KEEP OUR RECORDS UP TO DATE.

Parents are able to update their mobile phone and email details themselves via Compass, at anytime throughout the year.
