School Council President's Report

School Council President's Report
We are absolutely thrilled with the way the school is progressing under Debby's guidance and leadership and hope that you are too.
The grounds are really taking shape, and while it is not without its challenges, everyone is excited about the move into the Learning Hub and the imminent departure of the portables in early April.
As we near the end of term one, we have noticed there is a small number of parents and families who are yet to make contact with the school to pay their fees or to arrange a payment plan to do so.
This is placing a large amount of extra work and stress on our office staff and some teaching staff, as well as impacting on our resources as a school, so we are urging all our Beaumaris SC families to do the right thing as part of our school community.
(If you are in any sort of financial difficulty, please do also contact the office, as we are able to arrange a payment plan for you.)
We have had a great initial response from former students of Beaumaris High School and Beaumaris campus, as we put together our Past Students' Association. If you know anyone who attended the high school in Beaumaris between 1958 and 2015, please do ask them to get in touch or fill out the form which is attached to this newsletter.
Can I also remind everyone that if you have any concern whatsoever about the school, please do contact the office and ask to speak to Debby or one of the APs. If there are things you are not happy with, we want to know so we can help, so please do get in touch.
Thanks,
Steve Pearce
