Clontarf Academy

As always, the Warrnambool Clontarf boys have had a busy Term 4 to finish off the year.

Some of the major events that have taken place this term include:

·         The Clontarf Awards night was held on November 15 and was again deemed a tremendous success! A special night to congratulate the boy’s achievements for the year and importantly to thank the huge network of people around them providing support -Family, Friends, School Staff, Community Members and Partners With over 200 in attendance the boys say THANK – YOU !!

·         The Warrnambool Clontarf Academy boys attended the Remembrance Day Ceremony where they paid their respects at the city’s War Memorial, marking the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI

·         Earlier in the Term the boys travelled to Melbourne to participate in the Victorian Clontarf Cricket Carnival. The boys played against Clontarf academies from across Victoria as well as some corporate partners who formed a number of teams. Although the boys were not successful in winning the Shield, they gave it a good shot and had a great day catching up with fellow Vic academy members as well as having a chance to share the Clontarf story to the corporate supporters of our program.

Looking forward to finishing off the school year on a positive note as well as preparing for welcoming our 2019 Year 7 cohort.
