Marist Super Connect

On the 1st November, nine students along with Miss Kent, attended Marist Super Connect at Marist College Eastwood, with a range of other Marists schools in attendance. Together in the Marist spirit, each student discussed their faith, and the way in which Jesus is expressed in their lives and the journeys each person has shared with him. Students broke into smaller discussion groups along with other Marist students and a discussion leader who shared their experiences and journeys with Jesus.

Each group sequentially rotated through each workshop where they were introduced to the different ways Jesus is present in each other’s lives. Being a discussion, students were invited to contribute and give an understanding of where Jesus is present in journeys in their own lives as well as listen to the ways Jesus has accompanied others throughout their journeys.

Marist Super Connect, in essence brought together fellow Marists whom had all been touched by Jesus loving guidance as some point during their lives, and ultimately created a sense of community and unity amongst both ourselves and the Marist community, building and strengthening relationships with ourselves, our neighbours and most importantly, Jesus.
