Outdoor Ed

High Country Camp

Wednesday 20th April saw the Year 12 Outdoor Education class head off to Sheepyard Flats (45 minutes past Mansfield in the High Country) for their final high school camp.  With no showers or running water and drop toilets it was a new experience for the students.  The weather gods smiled on us this year with mild temperatures and only a sprinkle of rain on the Thursday night.  Bush walking, absailing and horse riding were the main activities. The games around the fire provided plenty of laughs and entertainment.  Well done to the students who got into the spirit of camp and were a cooperatiave and fun bunch to take away.

Thanks to Elke Hayen (PE Teacher) & Mike Hurd (School Council President) for assisting.
