Mountain Biking
Joshua and Nicholas Chisholm have been very busy on their bikes over the past few years. Both boys were chosen to be apart of the NIAS Mountain Biking program in 2014 and 2015. Earlier this year, the pair competed in the last round of the National Series and Oceania Championships, which saw multiple countries compete. This was all for preparation for the National Championships in Bright, Victoria, where Nicholas came in top 8 and Joshua finished in the top 12. The eager cyclists did not want to stop there and now have outgrown the NIAS team and moved on to be selected in the Two Wheel Academy. This Academy is based in Armidale with the goal to train the bikers and develop their race skills. The Academy races in their kit most weekends around the NSW countryside. What a huge achievement for both boys and we wish them every success in the future.
