Confucius Classroom - Chinese Educational Delegation

On December 4th, the Educational Delegation of 25 principals and teachers from Ha’erbin of China led by Doctor Wang Changwen, the director of Harbin Municipal Education Bureau visited Melbourne Girls’ College. Confucius Classroom leader Mrs. Elliott showed the delegation our school. All Chinese visitors were impressed with our facilities and school programs.

Our Principal Karen Money made a welcoming speech. Chinese principals and teachers were very interested in the college’s teaching philosophy, program settings, and so on. Ms Money tried to give all possible answers to satisfy the delegations’ interests about MGC. A big thank for Mrs. Elliott and Miss Shi who made this communication very successful.

Mrs. Kennedy, Mr. Arney and Mr. Houghton, the Assistant Principals also attended the symposium and exchanged the views of education and philosophy.
