Principal's message

As the sun stretches over our little school on this last day, I reflect upon the year that has come to an end. A year of challenges and obstacles, a year of uncertainty and constant change. Not just for our little school, but for our children, our families, our teachers and our community and even our planet. How  have we met these  challenges? With courage, with enterprise and with flexibility.

Our community has worked together and overcome, our families have understood, upskilled and supported, our teachers have  adapted, persevered and shone and our students have been incredible, everyday, every hour, every question delivered with curiosity, joyfulness and honesty. They have been the  fuel that has kept us educating, we are immensely proud of them and what they have achieved and we celebrate them not just as students but as the people they will become.

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to  Jamie Wittingslow and Angela Rhodes. Jamie brilliant, kind and a bringer of joy to students and staff alike. Angela a lighthouse of love for little lost ships. We also wish Linda Cooke and George Foulds the best for their yearly sabbaticals and wait with open arms for their safe return.

Finally a massive thankyou goes to Andrea for stepping into the Principal's role and

to Mary and Hatice the unseen soul of this school , the first point of call and the cogs on which we run. We look forward to a bright and brilliant 2022 and send love to you all.

Nicholas Smith,

Acting Principal
