Please make contact with your child's TA teacher at any stage.

Whilst on that, TA meetings will occur in Week 5 of this term.

For any child who has a Personalised Learning Plan (PLP) and requires adjustments in the classroom, a discussion around your child's progress will also form this conversation.

At this meeting, discussions will also include the following:

  • How your child has settled in
  • Their individualised learning goal for Term 1
  • Where your child can improve in Term 1

Please see the Goal Setting template below which will help facilitate this meeting, conducted by the student. These meetings can be booked online through PAM. If you are having trouble with PAM, please contact the College Office.

We have kicked off the year with the commencement of our TA Communities.

At the beginning of each school day, from 8:50am to 9:10am, all students in Years 5-8 will meet in their TA community.  They will use this time as an opportunity to not only further develop their relationships with one another, but each student will spend some time working with new and unfamiliar teachers across their Community. Each Community is made up of a teacher from each of the year levels and are spread across the SK 1234, SK 5678, Project Room and F- Wing.  We will resume an Extended TA lesson, which will now occur in Period 1 each Wednesday morning. A TA timetable that supports the foundation of our TA and a map highlighting the location of our student's TA classes in these times is included below.

TA 2022

Students have spent Weeks 1 and 2 playing a variety of getting to you know you games and have been reintroduced to a major component of our TA, The Resilience Project.

All students in Years 7 and 8 have been introduced to their own individual 2022 Student Diary. These tools will be used as a form of communication and for students to take to each of their classes, along with their device and their book/s.  Please continue to support this change by reminding students to bring their diaries to each of their classes and then back home.

SOLE will also be a major focus for TA. Next week's SOLE focus is shown below.
