Cyber Safety Project
The School has a partnership with Cyber Safety Project and our students, particularly Year Sevens, have participated in quite a few activities that they have facilitated.
The Cyber Safety Project’s mission is to provide a whole community approach focused on developing future skills, lifelong habits and self-regulation when innovating and using digital technologies for work, life and play. Their educational programs and proactive teaching strategies are aimed at creating safer communities that participate safely and responsibly in a digitally-engaged world.
They are now offering a Free Webinar Series For School Communities.
We know families are raising children in a digital era, with many wondering how to approach tricky online topics. In 2022, we have a series of four FREE webinars specifically for families. These live sessions are designed for families to work collaboratively (yes, we want children, parents, guardians, carers and even grandparents all jumping on board!) to embed safe and responsible cyber safety and digital wellbeing in the home. We have something for families at every age and stage, from online gaming to first mobile phones.
Please find details regarding the remaining three webinars with registration links below.
- My First Mobile Phone - Wednesday 9 November
- Online Gaming Safety - Tuesday 22 November
- Digital Balance and Wellbeing - Monday 28 November
