Digital Technologies

Dear families,

During this term the Year 3 students have been using the Lego WeDo 2.0 kits.  The kits and the iPad app take the students through some building instructions to build a model or robot designed to do something specific, ie sensor detector, plant detection, messaging through tilt detection.  They will also build robots that involve speed, push and pull machines, earthquake detection etc.  They will test these machines, code them and then modify as required.  It is certainly a unit of work that the students are well and truly immersed in.
