Year 5/6FA - Religious Education

During the first half of Term 4, students in 5/6  FA will be learning about the Sacrament of Confirmation. Students will be exploring the Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Spirit in more detail, especially how they are relevant in our daily lives. 5/6 FA students will then read the bible story in Acts 2:1-13- The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost, to discuss what happened to the Apostles in this special event. Students will then explore some of the symbolic actions used in the ceremony of Confirmation. Below are some comments from 5/6   FA students about their learning about the Sacrament of Confirmation.
