Welcome to Term 4 Easties. I cannot believe how quickly the year is flying by and we are already off and running with many exciting events happening here at Echuca East this term. Over the holidays we were lucky enough to get our super colourful line markings on our new asphalt. It looks fabulous and it has been great to see so many kids utilising the activities throughout the week. The smiles say it all!
Tuesday we saw our Grade 5 students head off to Roses Gap Camp in the Grampians for action packed fun and adventure. By all accounts it sounds like they have been having the best time despite the wet weather. Apologies too, for no Facebook updates this week, unfortunately we are having some technical issues with Facebook and fingers crossed it is back up and running again soon.
Speaking of running, next Monday Mr Holmfield is taking some of our athletic super stars to Bendigo to represent our school in the Regional Athletics. We wish them well and know that they will do us proud!
The action continues as Level 3’s start their swimming program next week too, on Thursday the Level 2’s are off to the Zoo and Friday we have some of our Level 4’s representing the school in the basketball Tournament. Good Luck Easties! We will keep you all posted of the outcome.
It is also getting close to the time where staff are busy setting up for our 2023 classes. So if you would like to discuss if your child has any educational needs we should be considering when forming our grades, please make an appointment to discuss this prior to Friday 28th October.
These appointments can either be via phone or in person.
Creating the grades is a very complex process and we try very hard to balance our classrooms to ensure ‘fairness’ for all, so once the classes have been set, there is very little chance of any changes being made.
Wishing everyone a great weekend and see you all next week!
