Curriculum
Year 12
Congratulations to Year 12 on the completion of their formal schooling. A reminder to students about some restrictions from NESA about their HSC written exams:
- Students are unable to leave in the first hour of an examination nor in the last 15 minutes.
- Students who are isolating due to a COVID-19 infection WILL REQUIRE a medical certificate if they miss an exam. Students will need this evidence to undertake an illness/misadventure process.
- Students who are unable to attend an examination due to illness or misadventure will need to contact Mrs Martin - bmartin1@arm.catholic.edu.au immediately to receive advice about the evidence required to submit to NESA.
Congratulations to Year 12 student Zoe Rickard who has been named a finalist in the School Based Trainee/Apprentice category of the 2022 NSW & ACT Group Training Awards. This scheme is statewide and for Zoe to be nominated as a finalist is an incredible achievement. The award event is on Friday 14 October 2022 at Dockside Darling Harbour and we wish her all the very best.
Year 11
Thank you to the Year 11 students who accommodated a change to their examination timetable with the late declaration of the public holiday. Reports will be distributed via COMPASS in Week 2 Term 4 and parent teacher interviews will occur in Week 3. Subject changes will not occur until after these parent teacher interviews.
Stage 5 Electives 2023
Students in Year 8 and 9 will make their 2023 elective choices at the beginning of Term 4.
NAPLAN
Individual Student Reports were distributed in Mentor Group on Friday. Any reports not distributed have been sent to families via Australia Post. Pleasingly, the trend graphs for the College show growth in all year levels.
