If you have (or want to get) a job, then you need to do a couple of things to prepare for tax time. These are:

Get a Tax File Number (TFN) - it's quick and easy and free - apply here
Nominate (and join) a superannuation fund. Three good options for young people are Future Super, Student Super, and Australian Ethical, but there are other great funds out there so do some research. Once you've joined a fund, let your employer know.
Get access to your MyGov account and connect your ATO profile, so you can lodge your tax online for free with MyTax

SBATs (School-based apprenticeships and traineeships)

What is an SBAT

School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBAT) allow students to train and get paid work while completing a VET Certificate while studying VCE or VCAL.

A School-Based Apprenticeship or Traineeship (SBAT) offers students the option of combining their senior secondary education with part-time employment and skills training. The program is undertaken under a formal training contract with an employer and has a training plan registered with the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA). The training must lead to a nationally recognised qualification, as determined by the VRQA.

CHC33015 Certificate 3 in Individual Support

This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason.

Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs. Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.

The role as defined by Fitness Australia for a Certificate III Fitness – Gym Instructor is:

Works within predictable settings such as a fitness facility, recreation or community facilities
Provides individually tailored client assessments, program development, program demonstration and client reviews
Provides supervision of a facility or service (i.e. observing client use of facilities, providing technique correction as needed, keeping equipment clean/tidy/well-maintained, being available for customer inquiries or assistance)
Typically reports to a manager but is not always directly supervised during work duties
