Year 11/12

These are very challenging and unique times and we have seen a mixture of both on site and remote learning for our Senior School students this term.  We were excited to commence the term with all Senior School classes, both VCE and VCAL on site.  Unfortunately, we have recently returned to remote learning, after the announcement by the Premier acting on the advice of the Chief Health Officer.

I would like to commend and congratulate our students on their dedicated approach to their learning and studies (both on site and remotely).  Also to sincerely thank our teachers for their hard work and dedication in providing a continuity of learning for our Senior School students. Keep up the great work everyone. 

Over the four weeks Year 10 Students and Senior School Students actively engaged in the Course Selection process for 2022, this program supports students to ensure they are steered in the right direction for their future pathway.  Course Counselling interviews were held last week, it was wonderful to see so many parents and guardians attend online interviews.

Northern Territory Trip

Unfortunately the Northern Territory Camp has been postponed. Possible new date 28th Sept- 18th  Oct. Ms Corney will keep parents informed

Presentation Ball

The CESC 2021 Presentation Ball is scheduled for Thursday 16th September at The Grand on Princess 2251 Princes Hwy Mulgrave 6:30pm – 11.00pm. Dance rehearsals have been cancelled however,hoping to start ASAP.

Year 11 into 12 course counselling was held online on Monday 9th August 3pm-8pm. If you haven’t completed your subject selection form for Year 12 2022 please return to the college ASAP.

Our year 12 VCE students have completed Unit 3 and are well into unit 4!

Unfortunately we were unable to run a Unit 3 awards assembly at school so a recording was shown to the students via WebEx. Students will be given their certificates when we return to school.
