Year 9/10
Middle School News
As we are half way through Term 3, Students and Parents should be commended on the way they have engaged in Learning from Home 6.0. Through my discussions with students and parents, the majority have commented that they are finding this round of Learning from Home a lot easier as they know the processes, they are aware of the expectations and are feeling connected to their peers through various homegroup and class activities.
I would like to thank the Year 9 and 10 leadership team, homegroup teachers, class teachers, support staff and parents for their dedication in ensuring our students are well supported, have the resources they require and are engaged in their learning. Thank you.
Term 3 also sees a busy time for year 9 & 10 students, albeit in different circumstances this year. Students are currently finalising their course and subject selections for 2022. Students have been provided information regarding the subjects on offer and how to select their electives and programs.
Students are encouraged to seek assistance from parents, guardians, teachers and the careers department. If you have any questions regarding the process, please contact your relevant Year Level Leader or myself.

Year 10 News
Early last term 20 year 10 students were given the opportunity to visit Federation Uni Casey to participate in the Youth Safety project and discuss what safety concerns young people have. The Year 10 team would like to congratulate all our entrants on submitting their intervention strategy to reduce risk to young people in our community, and making it through to the final round of judging to be held in front of a panel including members from Casey Council, Federation Uni, and Victoria Police at Bunjil Place. Good Luck Year 10s!
Course Counselling
Year 10 students and families have participated in the Year 10 into 11 Course Counselling night. Well done to students for being organised and prepared with your pathway selections ready for the meetings held last week! We appreciate the staff for remaining at school until 8pm for the nights to help out our year 10 students for senior school.
Now it time for year 10 to focus on preparing themselves for senior school by demonstrating to their year 10 teachers their capabilities across all subject areas – do your best and show you are ready to progress your learning!
Remote Learning
It has been fantastic to see so many year 10 students submitting such high quality work during remote learning, your teachers are very proud of your efforts! Many of our year 10 students have received recognition through RGAR points. We hope you are feeling very proud of your high quality efforts and motivation to prepare yourself.
Precal
This term the Precal class has completed their Safe at Work course involving a guest speaker, First Aid training and certificate, Road Safety workshop and continuing to work on their VET Active Volunteering certificate. Each class member has a free driving lesson due to their participation in the program.
