WHERE CHILDREN LOVE TO BE
For the last two weeks of school we decided to carry on our theme of active kids and Olympics. We spent Week 9 allowing our children to get back into the groove of things with a lot more days of children’s choice.
The children really enjoyed being back at school and having time with their friends to build forts, play footy, make paper planes and more. Some of the highlights from the week were using the gym equipment to practice our skills and making cookies and cream cupcakes.
In Week 10, (as we do for every term) we reflected on what some of our favourite activities or themes were and dedicated each day to those activities. Some of these highlights were beading bracelets and necklaces, obstacle course, sunrise watching, Afghan biscuits and capture the flag.
As much fun as this term has been, we are also very sad to be saying goodbye to two of our OSHClings in Max and Dmytro. We will miss them very much! And in true Theircare fashion, we will be having a farewell party for them this Friday during after school care.
Our Thiercare team wish you all a fantastic and well deserved holiday. For those that won’t be attending Holiday program, we hope you stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all next term.
