'Laser Tag' Snapshot Writing- Spencer

Striking fear into the eye of the enemy was not as easy task. Screams surrounded me as I leaped from wall to wall. A show of laser flies by my head. "Ahh" I yell at the top of my lungs. I've been shot...I hit the ground with a thud and crawl behind the nearest wall. "A laser wound." I say to myself.

'Flying Fox' Snapshot-  Coco

"Who wants to go first?" asked the instructor of the flying fox. Luke shot his hand into the air whilst I hesitantly raised a finger. The lady not instructing scanned the area..."You, girl in the polka-dot- sweater" she said.

I slowly stood up and put on a harness and a helmet.

"Whenever you're ready." she said. I took a running jump off the platform. I felt like I was flying. I sailed over the trees and the yabby pond, landing with a thud on the other side.

Camp reflections- Zara

To be honest I absolutely loved everything about camp. Some things that I found most memorable were when we went for a night walk and gazed at the twinkling stars and constellations. I was surprised when we were greeted back by a roaring campfire.

'Flying Fox'- Ryan

My hands were quivering with fear. I was about to go on the flying fox. Sweat was rushing down my face. Then...I flew. I was heading gracefully across the dam. My knees were trembling with fear as I looked down at the dam. When the ride was over, I was unbuckled from the rope. I walked back to the flying fox platform watching the other kids playing laser tag.

Canoeing - Juma

I watched my breath as I breathed out, the air surrounding cold as ice. The instructor was explaining what to do if our canoe tipped over. I shivered at the thought of falling in the freezing lake. "What if we capsize in our boat and get stuck underneath?" A kid in my group asked. "You gotta take a deep breath and swim under. It's only nine metres deep!" I started to have second thoughts about going on the lake, but suddenly found myself in a tiny canoe with Henri! Of course, the canoe rocked from side to side, water splashing down my jumper sending a shiver down my spine!
