Student Wellbeing

Welcome to Term 3

I have enjoyed a wonderful welcome to the role of Assistant Principal, having the chance to visit the classrooms on both our campuses and spending time in the yard with our students. It is wonderful to see the level of engagement the students have in the activities they are undertaking and it is evident that our staff are committed to planning and providing for the individual needs of all our students.

With another lockdown being announced at short notice at the end of last week, I am sure we all thought ‘Here we go again!’  It is another interruption but it is for the greater good of everyone.  The Concord School values have shone through our students, staff and community: cooperating to do our personal bestin Remote Learning, respecting the challenges that this brings for all of us, and supporting each other to continue to build resilience.

The school is here to support you, although not all staff are rostered to work onsite. Please use Compass to contact your class teachers or the team leaders.

Wellbeing Resources for Parents and Carers

Remote and flexible learning can be challenging for both students and parents.

Schools can share a range of resources with parents and carers to help them support their child’s mental health and wellbeing.  Topics include:
