Connor's Run

Join the team!

Once again SKiPPS have entered a team into 'Connor's Run’. Connor's Run is a 9.6km fun run (with an emphasis on fun!) which takes place every September in memory of Robert Connor Dawes.

Robert was a local teenager who suffered from brain cancer. Connor’s Run raises huge amounts of money each year to fund research to find more effective treatments, and ultimately a cure, for paediatric brain cancer.

This cause is very close to home for our school and many of our families- both current and ex-students have battled brain cancer.

We are challenging all of our school community (students, parents, carers, families, pets) to sign up for Connor's Run and join our SKiPPS team on the morning of Sunday 12th September. The event starts at Catani Gardens and finishes in the city. With a vibe that is ‘more fun than run’, it is suitable for both the sporty and the not-so-sporty.

Registrations costs are as follows: Adults-$75/Youth-$55 and include a 2021 Connor’s Run Tshirt. Over 60% of registration places have already been filled so if you are interested please register ASAP!

If you can't make it on the day, then there are other options. You can choose to do Connor's Run 'Your Way, Any Day' throughout September - maybe a good option for anyone not confident of doing the 9.6km in one go!

Alternatively, you can support us by donating to the team. All donations made before 30th June will be doubled so your contribution will go even further!

Registration and donations can be done at our SKiPPS team page: https://www.connorsrun.com/fundraisers/stkildaparkprimaryschool
