Celebration of Learning

Bravehearts -Foundation
Bravehearts key purpose is to educate, empower and protect Australian kids from sexual assaults. Further information about the program can be found in Edition 4 of il giornale.
Shepp News Excursion -Year Seven
Today the Year 7's visited Shepparton News as a part of our Inquiry focus this term. We have been researching and exploring how the news is delivered and what role we play in this. We have been learning how to decipher between what is fact and what is opinion. We were very interested to see the process taken to produce a daily paper and we got to see those involved in the process from the editor, journalists, photographers, digital designers and many more.
We would like to thank Shepp News for having us and taking the time out of their busy working day to speak with us. -Ebony
Inanay Capuana -Foundation
Our Foundation students performed a song they'd learned with Bec this term. It was so good that they sang it twice! Inanay Capuana is an indigenous nursery rhyme.
Caritas Coin Line
The total count is still happening but the lines were impressive with Yellow house just missing bragging rights for the longest coin line from Blue house.
Water Carrying Contest
Our House teams were competitive in transferring the water from bucket to the coloured tub...with small cups. It required concentration, speed and a steady hand!
Shared Lunch
Mmm...what a delicious selection of food for our shared lunch!
Thank you to the families who contributed and the delicious treats prepared by the Year Seven students with Ebony and Leesa in the school kitchen.
Holy Week Liturgy
Thank you to the families who joined us for the Stations of the Cross.
As a community we gathered respectfully, in unison and prayerfully. Our students led the liturgy that was very spiritual and calming. Thanks to Ebony Anderson and the Catholic Identity Team for organising this for us.
